If that is so, you join via the lan tab in the server list, all others join via the internet tab or by entering the IP (your external IP:port) in thier favorites. If you use a router, you have to open the correct ports to the sever which can get a bit tricky if your not familliar with that. Look at that hlds101 site for more info on the ports to open up. You open the config file with wordpad, just use save, not save as to save changes as you don't want to change the file extension. -=GOz=-Tom _________________

The IP is LAN the ping jumps because your on the same machine.. make sure all programs are not running behind. turn off any unnecessary programs. add ip to favorites list.. if this don't work i will make you another server with diffident settings. In file c:/hlds/valve/server.cfg please add name of server to hostname line in "" Example hostname "-=GOz=-Adinan [Brasil]" _________________
